As the lead event producer, I spearheaded the planning and execution of the 5th Annual We The Girls Conference, a powerful gathering designed to empower and inspire over 350 6th–12th grade DCPS young ladies and 100 educators. Taking place during the challenging transition back to in-person learning after COVID, this event was more than just a celebration—it was a testament to resilience, community, and leadership. From conceptualizing the event’s vision to managing logistics, programming, and execution, I ensured that every detail contributed to a meaningful experience. The conference not only restored a sense of normalcy but also reinforced the importance of self-worth, connection, and empowerment during a critical time for students.
